Co-living friction kills good roommate relationships
Roommate conflicts aren't usually about personalities — they're about logistics. Who paid the electric bill? Whose turn is it to clean the bathroom? Why did groceries cost so much this month? These small frictions compound into major household tension.
LiveWith needed a single app that handles the operational side of shared living — from finding compatible roommates to managing the day-to-day logistics that keep a household running smoothly.
02 — The Solution
All-in-one household management for shared living
We built a React Native app with Firebase for real-time sync and Stripe for payment splitting. The compatibility matching system uses a lifestyle quiz covering sleep schedules, cleanliness standards, noise tolerance, and social preferences.
Once matched, households get shared expense tracking with receipt scanning, a fair chore rotation system with push notification reminders, group messaging with pinned items, and shared shopping lists that sync in real-time.
